Multifaceted industry experienced crew responsible for maintaining, building, and supporting BMM

Tobias Barbir is a German native under Romanian parents who migrated to America and joined the US Military. He spent the past two decades in the Logistics arena while having traveled the globe to 30 different countries and two warzones during that time. Then in 2013, he learned about Bitcoin and like many others he dismissed it as internet funny money until his cousin sent him a used mining rig in the mail in early 2017. Since then Tobias learned to repair and refurbish miners out of his facility in NC, broker deals, consult for other mining companies, put deployment teams together for large sites, manage consolidation projects in various different states, train entry-level Techs on site, and physically confirm multi-million dollar hardware deals for clients. It was not until 2021 that he realized he might have the most extensive Bitcoin mining collection in the world and decided to focus on helping preserve the history of Bitcoin mining hardware as much as possible. That is how the Bitcoin Mining Museum was born. His collection now extends to over 80 different Bitcoin mining machines from across the globe. To this day, he is still actively adding to this collection.

Lee Bratcher is the President and Founder of the Texas Blockchain Council. An Army Captain and former political science professor, Lee has been instrumental in making Texas a global hub for Bitcoin mining. He discovered the Bitcoin whitepaper while working on property rights at the US Army Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute. His work spans legislative advocacy, education, and strategic partnerships to advance the digital asset industry.

James Scaggs is the CEO of Advanced Crypto Services (ACS), a premier ASIC repair and maintenance provider based in Dallas. He leads a team focused on operational excellence and scaling mining infrastructure. Under his leadership, ACS became an authorized warranty service center for MicroBT and a Bitmain certified repair center. James is a regular speaker at industry events like Mining Disrupt, sharing insights on mining at scale.

April has been around the Bitcoin mining community since 2018. She has assisted in site deployments with her husband, work shop repairs on S9 machines, and helped deploy the BMM exhibit to several Bitcoin conferences. She has a Bachelor and Masters in Information Technology, and several certs in CompTia, and Cisco. April is known to be persistent, to the point, and self motivated. We are blessed to have her.

Tyler began mining bitcoin in 2015 and quickly became captivated with bitcoin mining and the evolution of SHA256. He began researching, collecting, selling USB based home miners with the goal of encouraging global adoption, awareness, and decentralization of bitcoin mining. He was fascinated and became passionate about the history of ASICs, and how the industry evolved into what it is today. Tyler is a Multimedia Specialist by career with over a decade of focus on interactive web development. He holds certifications in both Advanced Multimedia Design and Website Creation and Design.

After first falling down the Bitcoin rabbit hole in 2017, Parker quickly became fascinated with proof-of-work, mining BTC, ETH, and ZEC from his college apartment (and nearly driving his roommates insane). Today, Parker continues to tinker with small-scale mining from his home in North Georgia, and leverages his expertise in videography, graphic design, & web development to support the Bitcoin Mining Museum's efforts in creating compelling mining content.

Marc's journey with Bitcoin began in 2010 during his high school years, CPU mining on an aging desktop & GPU mining on his laptop. The laptop endured quite a journey, undergoing 4 or 5 motherboard replacements due to the strain of running POCLBM for mining. By 2017, Marc was developing firmware for S9s. He helped conceive the pioneering Autotuning firmware now known as Vnish or Asic.to, first unveiled to the public in the summer of 2018.

Matt started GPU mining in college in the early days using free electricity in the dorm room. He then moved on to work for a large mining farm in Montana where he learned the skills to start his own consulting company. Since then he has spent years closing large deals, selling hardware, and helping sites scale. He is a global travel fanatic and has flown millions of miles to date.

Ian started mining in early 2010, first using CPUs and then GPUs. In 2013, he started building his own ASIC farm that grew to 40MW in 2018, representing up to 1% of the bitcoin network computational power. In 2019, Ian went to manage a top 6 mining pool before founding Pow.re with his co-founders and going back to building mining farms.
